Anatomical Concepts (UK) Ltd is now the UK distribution partner for RehaCom.

RehaCom has been developed continuously since 1986 by HASOMED GmbH (Inc, Ltd) in Magdeburg, Germany and is the market leader in Europe.  Now used in over 1000 hospitals and practices across Europe, RehaCom is a comprehensive and sophisticated system of procedures for computer-assisted cognitive rehabilitation.  This practical tool, assists the therapist in the rehabilitation of cognitive disorders that affect attention, concentration, memory, perception, activities of daily living and more. Developed from the ground-up as a therapy tool - not a computer game - RehaCom assists in the therapy of cognitive disorders. The system supports processes of restitution and substitution, allows the exercise of compensation strategies and offers cost-saving therapy solutions to hospitals and clinics.

The system is currently available in 15 languages

Simple Operation
The user can work with RehaCom on a typical mainstream multimedia computer (Windows NT4/98/ME/2000/XP/Vista).  Larger monitor size of 17ins or above is recommended.  The multimedia system delivers client training with the aim of improved cognitive function and monitors progress.

RehaCom is very easy to use.  Clients typically use the RehaCom Custom Panel - a special keyboard with simple, large and clear keys.  Alternatively, if required, the system may be operated with a conventional computer keyboard, mouse or touch screen.  For the clinician, RehaCom is very fast and easy to set-up.  In all procedures, the control approach is consistent so despite the wide scope of the software, training and support requirements are minimised. 

Extensive manuals are available on the RehaCom CD, explaining both the theoretical background and the procedures in detail.

Currently there are 27 training procedures available (19 in English) spanning the areas of:

• attention and concentration
• memory
• reactivity
• logical thinking/ action planning
• spatial imaginative power
• visual disturbances
• visuo-motor disturbances
